It almost looks like he just vanished, leaving his pants behind, but I guess he simply foxed out and trotted off?

Since his former master is here, does that mean Gideon and Willow are in his homeland? Why didn’t he recognize it? And is he headed out to find his burned down home? He shouldn’t go there alone. 🙁
