Guessing she’s a music lover. Hmm waiting for the awkwardness between the engaged Princess and the Mysterious mistress. Or at least their interaction.

Hmmm… has mystery lady spoken at all? Can she?

Hmm… the mystery lady reminds me a lot of the little mermaid from Hans Christian Andersen’s version of the story. Now that I think about it several elements from this chapter of the comic give off that vibe.

The beginning was parallelling the Binnorie story pretty closely, the only difference being that the harp used wasn’t made of bones and hair of the murdered (as far as we know). I wouldn’t be all that surprised if the comic had many more references to old stories.

Jessa said the harp was her mother’s… it’s an “heir”-loom, but I don’t think real hair is involved.

It’s just now occurring to me that neither of them might speak her language.
