The fox’s face in the first two panels is so ridiculous. The first one’s all “Girl, aw HEEELLL naw” and the second one looks like he’s singing.

Agreed. Though, to be fair, he IS just making fox noises. I assume that if outsiders hear nothing but a fox barking, they see nothing but a fox barking. Just because Willow can hear him talk doesn’t necessarily means he is actually talking with his mouth.

Taking -things-? Or breaking off a finger bone? I mean, I know what would make me more uncomfortable… 🙂

hm, in my manga & anime experience the facial expressions of the fox fit perfectly with his words – a wisenheimer just waiting for the well-deserved smack…
