Could her past justify her present cruelty…?

No past can justify killing another life.

No way does it justify her actions, but it does offer insight as to what shaped her into such a cruel person. It’s sad to realize she was a little girl at one point, and her struggles turned her into an ugly, twisted woman.

Exactly. We definitely don’t want to suggest her past as an excuse, but for me as the writer – this is something that always occurs to me when I read about some horrific event in the news. However a person is twisted, at one point they were someone’s baby. What culmination of life events causes people to develop a certain way?

As a mother myself, it makes me very sad.

I saw that “I’m so poor, woe is me.” speech coming Jessa, but no way in hell does it make killing the princess right.

Silly me, that TOTALLY justifies caving an innocent woman’s skull in with a rock. My mistake.

The best villians are those that make us feel uncomfortable. One that invite you to get into their skin. The ones that have a history before walking into the evil box. That said, I wonder where this is going. Tessa’s going to talk, for whatever reason villians use their victims as therapists, but after her story does she she just Willow walk? Or does Fox scare the begeezus out of her and they run?

Oh, YES. No criminal is complete without a sobstory. Now we know she had a great reason to kill someone. To have a pretty dress. Because she was poor.

Seriously lady, you’re talking to a girl who hasn’t had a meal for two days. Since she’s running away, I’d say she doesn’t have a permanent roof she can trust. With all those unfortunate things that happened to her, I’m pretty sure the princess has an idea how it’s like to have so little of everything.
