I love this series and the artwork, and have been a patron for a couple of years! Have you ever considered publishing on a platform like LINE webtoon? I don’t work for them nor do I know how they compensate their artists so it might not be the right thing for you, but I read a lot of webtoons on there too and it seems like a good way to get the series more exposure! Keep up the awesome work!

I agree the comic is worthy of more exposure, but that’s hardly the popular site. hiveworks and many others are more in line with fantasy webcomics, but really what I believe is needed is more link exchanges. there’s almost nothing here in this comic’s ‘link section’: https://sadsausagedogs.com/?page_id=423

and there are tons of fantasy comics that would be a good match for this – it’s the main way I discover new fantasy webcomics. for example, widdershins, flipside, daughter of the lilies, stand still stay silent, root and branch, 164 days, amya, feywinds, spindrift, and stray sod. for a few examples.

We have actually applied to Hiveworks a few times and we never get any response so I’m assuming there is no interest there. We *are* on Tapastic and we have close to 15k subscribers there, but since they changed their ad algorithm it’s hard to make any money off it anymore. We’ve also had two physical publishing deals fall through due to reasons beyond our control so it’s not that we don’t want/aren’t trying for more exposure, but things don’t always work out.

Thank you for the advice and I’ll look at seeing if we can do more link exchanges – if you have more suggestions, we’re all ears. 🙂

Wow – I have never heard of Hiveworks or Tapas but those sites look awesome! Yay for more comics!

We’ve looked briefly at LINE, but I don’t think our format is quite right for it – we didn’t develop this as a straight webtoon so it’s not vertical like so many of them are. Plus I’ve heard some rumors about how it can get fairly nasty with some of the upvoting/downvoting. I don’t think we have the energy to deal with that. LOL.

I have been reading this comic for a long time. And I never get tired of where it is going. Great to see another person who does retellings.
